Includes Rare Apocrypha Found Nowhere Else

The Ethiopian Bible contains books you won't find in any other Bible

• The Book of Enoch
• The Book of Jubilees
• The Book of Maccabees

These aren't random additions. These are ancient scriptures that were read by early Christians and removed by religious councils centuries later.

Found Among the Dead Sea Scrolls

In 1947, the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered; the oldest biblical manuscripts ever found. Hidden in the caves of Qumran for nearly 2,000 years, they contained nearly every Old Testament book, plus copies of Enoch, Jubilees, Tobit, and many more.

The discovery raised a question the West couldn't easily answer: how did Ethiopia, one small country, still preserve books like Enoch and Jubilees — the very texts buried in those caves? While Western traditions left these scriptures out of their canons, Ethiopia kept what the Dead Sea Scrolls would later confirm: these books existed, and they were treasured by the communities that shaped early Christianity.

Preserved by a NationThat Was Never Conquered

Ethiopia was never colonized by Rome. Never permanently conquered by Europe. Never forced to bow to religious councils that edited everyone else's scriptures.

They were one of the first Christian nations on earth, and the first Christian nation in Africa.

In Acts 8, Philip baptized an Ethiopian official just years after Jesus rose from the dead.

While Europe was editing their Bibles, Ethiopia was protecting theirs. All 88 books.
